Mark Teubl serves as the Senior Advisor for National Security. He is responsible for supporting and advising the Chairman on issues of national security issues and policy, coordinating EXIM’s role within the national security enterprise and interagency.

Prior to EXIM, Mr. Teubl covered cybersecurity and critical infrastructure policy at the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). In this capacity, he enabled strategic oversight and developed legislative proposals to enhance geopolitical efforts against the CCP. He also spent two years working on the House Homeland Security Committee where he was subcommittee director for maritime and transportation security.

Before his time in the Legislative branch, Mr. Teubl worked at the National Counterterrorism Center where he served as National Security Council briefer and deployed overseas to support counterterrorism operations. He began his career as an Imagery Analyst at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

Mr. Teubl received a Bachelor of Arts in Government, with an emphasis in strategic intelligence, from Patrick Henry College and a Master of Arts in Security Studies, with a focus on terrorism and substate violence. from Georgetown University.
