Courtney Chung is a results-driven leader with over 20 years of experience optimizing operational processes, advancing technology modernization, and implementing data-driven strategies across federal and local government sectors. As the Senior Vice President and Chief Management Officer at the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM), she oversees eight critical offices that drive EXIM’s operational framework:

  • Chief Information Officer
  • Chief Technology Officer
  • Human Capital
  • Contract Services
  • Insights and Data Solutions
  • Business Services Division
  • Facility Services and Capital Planning Division
  • Security Division

In her role, Ms. Chung is focused on streamlining operational processes, integrating advanced technology solutions, and aligning data-driven decision-making with EXIM’s strategic priorities. She is also leading initiatives to optimize contract management processes and implement cost-saving measures that directly support the administration’s agenda of operational efficiency and fiscal responsibility.

Prior to EXIM, Ms. Chung led extensive operational restructuring initiative as the Business Planning and Central Management Division Director at the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). She was instrumental in redefining financial processes, developing performance metrics, integrating risk management frameworks, and aligning financial planning and reporting efforts with agency priorities. At the Departments of Labor and Treasury, Ms. Chung was recognized for her innovative approach to cost management and operational efficiency.

Ms. Chung earned her B.A. from the University of Virginia, where she was named to the Dean's List and was a recipient of the prestigious Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship. She also holds a Post-Baccalaureate from Georgetown University.
