WASHINGTON, DC – The Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) presented Amaero Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Inc. with the China and Transformational Exports Program (CTEP) Deal of the Year Award today at its 2025 Annual Conference.

In January, the EXIM Board of Directors approved a $23.5 million loan to McDonald, TN-based Amaero to support the purchase and installation of industrial metals processing equipment to further expand the company’s critical minerals and refractory alloy processing facility. The powders produced from the facility can be used in additive manufacturing applications, aerospace, and medical uses.

“Transactions like this allow EXIM to expand our support for U.S. exporters while meeting and advancing our mission of the China and Transformational Exports Program,” said Acting President and Chairman Jim Cruse. “This project reaffirms EXIM’s unwavering commitment to helping U.S. exporters meet competition from the People’s Republic of China while continuing to create high-paying domestic jobs in critical industries.”

“The $23 million loan from EXIM was an important and validating signal of support,” said Hank J. Holland, Chairman and CEO of Amaero. “Improving the resiliency and scalability of domestic manufacturing is imperative for both national security and economic prosperity. The initiative is a targeted and effective tool to support the re-industrialization of our country while supporting small businesses and promoting economic development.”

The China and Transformational Exports program was established in 2019 at the direction of Congress with the objective of leveraging EXIM tools and resources to address China competition and increase America’s export competitiveness.
