Export-Import Bank of the United States Chair Reta Jo Lewis Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities to Kick off Hispanic Heritage Month

WASHINGTON – Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) President and Chair Reta Jo Lewis and Dr. Antonio Flores, President and CEO of the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), today signed the first Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at EXIM focused on creating educational opportunities at EXIM for students, faculty and staff at HACU-member institutions.

As part of the execution of the MOU, EXIM will create paid internships for HACU students on a recurring basis. Kicking off EXIM’s commemoration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Bank will onboard the first cohort of HACU interns before the end of the month.

“EXIM is thrilled to be partnering with HACU and entering into an MOU that will be mutually beneficial,” said Chair Lewis. “I am invested in increasing young talent within EXIM and this experience can open doors and opportunities for students.
