Tamar Rowe
Director of Scheduling
Tamar Rowe is Director of Scheduling to EXIM’s President & Chairman. She supports the Chairman and his priorities in furthering strategic initiative through planning and executing meetings and other events with internal stakeholders, U.S. exporters, and international businesses and governments. She brings extensive experience in organizational operations and management.
Prior to joining EXIM, Ms. Rowe served as the Executive Assistant to multiple executives at Asplundh Tree Expert’s Corporate Headquarters, the largest provider of critical infrastructure services across North America. She managed complex scheduling and coordinating on- and off-site meetings, agendas, and briefings, while also helping to launch One Asplundh Storm, a nationwide effort to streamline emergency storm response operations.
Before joining Asplundh, Ms. Rowe worked for Summit Hospitality Group both in the Operations and Corporate sphere. Ms. Rowe supported the opening operations of the AC Hotel Raleigh Downtown owned, built, and operated by Summit Hospitality. Ms. Rowe transitioned to Summit’s Corporate office where she drove the development and implementation of a financial reporting system, as well as managed vendor contracts, and investor relations.
Ms. Rowe attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music as a harpist and a second Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. As a professional harpist, Ms. Rowe has enjoyed performing with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, and Jazz Arts Charlotte, as well as collaborating with musicians in the greater Charlotte area. Ms. Rowe earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Bachelor of Arts in Music, as a harpist, at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. As a professional harpist, Ms. Rowe performed as a guest with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra and Jazz Arts Charlotte, and developed and directed a harp teaching studio, which provided training to beginner-level harp students in the Charlotte area.
