Amanda Genereaux-Deufel is the regional economist covering the regions of Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia for the U.S. Export-Import Bank’s Country Risk and Economic Analysis Division. In this role, Mrs. Genereaux-Deufel is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the sovereign and non-sovereign outlook for countries in her region, providing country risk assessments on behalf of the U.S. government. She regularly communicates her views on key market developments with senior bank staff and management, helping formulate and guide division and bank-wide projections and forecasts.

Mrs. Genereaux-Deufel joined EXIM Bank in 2019. She earned a master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University.
