Aerek Stephens is the Director of the Client Care Unit Services Division at the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM Bank). In this capacity, he leads the Client Care Unit (CCU), which equips clients with the knowledge and support needed to effectively manage their export credit insurance policies and expand their international sales. The CCU also assists users in navigating the EXIM Online application system and supports both current and prospective clients with obtaining and maintaining Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) registrations in Sam.gov.

In addition to overseeing the CCU, Aerek directs Business Development for EXIM’s Emerging Exporter division. He cultivates strategic partnerships with government agencies and business associations to foster economic opportunities in historically underserved communities.

Outside of EXIM, Aerek serves as an ex-officio member of the NASBITE International Board of Governors, contributing to the advancement of global trade education. With over two decades of experience in banking, his expertise spans project management, relationship management, lending, and collections. Aerek is a proud alumnus of Elizabeth City State University.
