Established by Congress, the Sub-Saharan Africa Advisory Committee advises EXIM on policies that advance America-first financing and expand opportunities for U.S.-manufactured goods and services in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Comprising 11 members appointed by EXIM’s Board of Directors, the Committee meets twice a year to provide guidance to boost American exports, support U.S. jobs, and strengthen American competitiveness in the region. The Committee reports its findings through recommendations to EXIM’s Board.
