Cirilli Portrait

Kevin Cirilli is a communications specialist; Yahoo Finance broadcast contributor. Currently, he is visiting media fellow in the Atlantic Council’s Global China Hub. He was recently chief Washington correspondent for Bloomberg Television and Bloomberg Radio, where he worked for nearly six years and was one of the youngest chief Washington correspondents in broadcast journalism history.

Cirilli brings his unique background in geopolitics, global business, print/broadcast media, political communications, and regulatory affairs as a nonpartisan, policy-based reporter whose daily reports and analysis communicated with a niche audience of global investors, financial-services stakeholders, and policymakers. He helped launch and anchor a global daily radio show and interviewed prominent global leaders while covering breaking business news from the White House and the U.S. Capitol.

Cirilli’s expertise is rooted in building trust in technology infrastructure networks amongst like-minded stakeholders who believe in democratic principles. He has covered how democracies have worked through public-private partnerships, investment and financing to counter authoritarianism. He has extensively covered export finance controls, U.S.-China relations, tech diplomacy, financial services, regulatory affairs, domestic politics, Silicon Valley regulations, and more. His reporting took him all over the world, including Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Colombia, Israel, South Africa, and Germany. Prior to Bloomberg, he worked for POLITICO Pro Financial Services and the Hill, where he helped launch the daily Overnight Finance tip sheet (where he frequently covered the Export-Import Bank).

Kevin grew up in suburban-Philadelphia's Delaware County. In his free time he enjoys Philly food and running. Follow him on LinkedIn here.
