In 2023, the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) convened the inaugural industry day to solicit feedback from the accelerator manufacturer and user community on how to support U.S.-leadership and eliminate challenges in this sector.

Some of these challenge areas included:

  • Funding
  • Human Capital
  • National Laboratory Interfacing and Support
  • Market Access

To continue supporting the U.S. accelerator community, DOE/NNSA is planning another two-day meeting on June 10 – 11, 2025—by invitation only—for industry to gather to discuss new opportunities and business successes from the past two years.
