WASHINGTON, D.C. - The North Alabama International Trade Association in cooperation with the Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank), the U.S. Department of Commerce, Small Business Administration, Overseas Private Investment Corporation and local sponsors will host an exporter symposium January 25, 2005 in Huntsville, Ala. The training is designed for area companies of all sizes that wish to learn how to find and finance foreign buyers and increase their sales.

Attendees will learn how to find international buyers, access valuable trade information, obtain working capital loans, protect against the risk of nonpayment, offer buyer financing, and invest overseas with the U.S. government's assistance. The symposium also will address special Ex-Im Bank programs for environmental and service exports, lease transactions, and small, minority-owned and woman-owned businesses. The half-day session features case studies and classroom discussions to facilitate the attendees' understanding of the many dynamic trade products and services available.
