Export-Import Bank of the U.S. Chair Lewis to Join U.S.-South African Bilateral Trade and Investment Event in Atlanta
Atlanta, Georgia – Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) President and Chair Reta Jo Lewis will travel to Atlanta, Georgia March 25-26 to take part in the Atlanta Phambili trade and investment mission, hosted by U.S. Ambassador to South Africa Reuben E. Brigety II and Prosper Africa, a Presidential-level national security initiative aimed at strengthening the strategic and economic partnership between the U.S. and Africa. Chair Lewis will attend the roadshow events alongside U.S. Trade and Development Agency Director Enoh Ebong and Prosper Africa Coordinator British Robinson.
While in Atlanta, Chair Lewis will attend a series of engagements with South African government and business leaders and highlight the role EXIM financing can play in supporting U.S. exports to South Africa. More details to come.
