Export-Import Bank of the U.S. Vice Chair Judith Pryor Highlights Support for Local Exporters During Visit to Arkansas

Fayetteville, Arkansas – Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) First Vice President and Vice Chair Judith Pryor traveled to Arkansas last week to meet with local businesses, elected officials, and community partners to underscore EXIM’s commitment to supporting Arkansas exporters.

“It was a privilege to visit Arkansas and meet with exporters and community stakeholders to highlight how EXIM can be a gamechanger for local businesses looking to grow through exporting,” said Vice Chair Pryor. “EXIM is deeply committed to supporting Arkansas exporters, including women-owned businesses, and we stand ready to provide financing tools that can help U.S. exporters compete and win in the global marketplace.”

On Wednesday, Vice Chair Pryor began the day by participating in a roundtable discussion with local business leaders and elected officials, hosted by World Trade Center Arkansas. During the event, she highlighted Make More in America, EXIM’s domestic financing initiative, and the agency’s work to support Arkansas exporters. Vice Chair Pryor ended the day by participating in a fireside chat at the University of Arkansas hosted by the Global Business and Markets Student Organization. On Thursday and Friday, Vice Chair Pryor visited with a number of prospective small businesses and held meetings with members of the sustainability and international teams at Tyson Foods and WalMart.

Vice Chair Pryor ended her tour by participating in a panel discussion hosted by the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition on International Women’s Day. During the event, Vice Chair Pryor discussed social cultural and economic achievements of women entrepreneurs in global trade and underscored EXIM’s commitment to leveraging financing tools and resources to help women-owned businesses grow and expand through exporting.
