Join us this week for an overview of the Washington Export Outreach Team (WEOT) and the resources and technical assistance available to you, the small business exporter.
According to the most recent data from the U.S. Census Bureau, veteran-owned businesses continue to increase. The Census Bureau found that in 2019:
- There were 331,151 veteran-owned businesses, representing nearly 6 percent of all U.S. employer businesses with more than one employee.
- Those businesses provided jobs for 4 million employees.
- They generated an estimated $963.4 billion in receipts.
Join us this week as the Washington State Department of Commerce and the Western U.S. Agricultural Trade Association provide information on grants which support Washington businesses attending trade shows. The U.S. Small Business Administration - SBA Office of International Trade, Export-Import Bank of the United States and United states Department of Agriculture - Foreign Agricultural Service will provide information about export loans and export credit insurance which supports Washington businesses as they compete for international sales resulting from their trade show attendance.
Join the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (NCAIED) and the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) as we honor and recognize Native American Heritage Month.
