Joe is an Executive Managing Director and the Strategic Growth Leader for the US reinsurance business responsible for growth across all product and solution lines. In addition, he leads the Credit & Guaranty, and Government Practice as well as the Agriculture and Crop Insurance Practice – focused on developing innovative solutions to help governments, financial institutions, farmers, and agribusiness reduce risk and maximize opportunity. Joe joined Aon in 1998, working initially in Aon Analytics, Aon’s actuarial and financial modeling unit, before moving into the brokerage division. His primary responsibilities are for the generation of new revenue in the areas of agriculture and crop insurance, mortgage, financial guaranty and credit enhancement (re)insurance, government de-risking, large commercial property and casualty, and regional property and casualty reinsurance, as well as specialty risk classes like terrorism. He is also actively involved in the account management and placement execution for a number of existing accounts in Aon’s Chicago office. He graduated from the University of Chicago and is also a Registered Representative of Aon Securities Inc., a member of the FINRA and SIPC.
