Chuck Cadena was named Senior Director of Communications, Public & Government Affairs for Spirit AeroSystems in September 2018. He is responsible for the corporate communications, government relations and community affairs functions. In addition, he oversees the company’s relations with its Board of Directors.

Cadena is a strategic communications leader with global perspective who has held positions in industry and government. He has extensive experience in aerospace having worked at The Boeing Company, where he held a number of executive communications leadership roles and other assignments across the company’s commercial and defense units. Prior to joining Spirit AeroSystems, Cadena led global public relations for Stratasys – a world leader in 3D printing and additive manufacturing. Before working in the aerospace industry, Cadena was a legislative aide in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Cadena is a member of the Board of Directors for the Kansas Chamber of Commerce. He has a Master of Business Administration from Seattle University and earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Mexico.
