-Relationship Management and Business Development - developing, strengthening and deepening relationships with core clients and prospects, actively marketing SEF’s global capabilities in the Americas region, identifying, coordinating and executing firm-wide business opportunities, developing and maintaining significant income streams or new business/product opportunities; establishing, enhancing relationships with regional players and counterparties (i.e. ECAs, Multilaterals, Development Agencies, private insurance markets, etc.)
-Originate, Advise, Structure and Execute Export Finance Mandates- advise clients, originate new lead lending mandates, develop deal structures, including use of interest rate swaps and cross currency/foreign exchange hedges, prepare and negotiate financing proposals to win mandates; negotiate and execute documentation. She is involved in all phases of transactions from marketing and origination, structuring, negotiation and execution. In particular, she is responsible for marketing Ex-Im Bank and Airbus ECA products to airlines all around the world and manages the team’s relationships with Boeing, and Airbus, as well as other OEMs.
- Risk, Portfolio and Distribution Management – decision making and managing risks in line with firm’s requirement for transactions originated for funding by the firm; manages a multi-billion dollar loan portfolio and actively manages distribution to third party investors to optimize the firm’s balance sheet and funding.
- People and Knowledge Management – Lead and manage a diverse team to promote talent and share product and market knowledge.

She and her team have led and executed Ex-Im Bank financial advisory assignments totaling USD 2 billion for satellite operators, including SES, Satmex and Inmarsat, and has advised on and lead arranged financings in excess of USD 14 billion covering all types of Boeing and Airbus commercial aircraft for airlines and leasing companies with innovative, unique and risk-mitigated funding solutions tapping the traditional bank loan markets as well as capital markets.

She and her team have won several trophy aviation awards for unique and innovative structures, including recently the “Africa Deal of the Year” for the AFIC transaction for Ethiopian Airlines by Ishka and “JOLCO Deal of the Year for Latin America”, a first UKEF financing combined with JOLCO for Latin carrier, Avianca, as well as the “AFIC Africa Deal of the Year” for Ethiopian Airlines by Global Transport Finance. In 2017, ING’s AFIC financing for Korean Air Lines, the very first aviation financing covered by newly launched private insurance product has won several awards, including Air Finance Journal’s “Overall Deal of the Year 2017”, the “AFIC Asian Deal of the Year 2017” by Air Transport Finance and “The Most Innovative Deal of the Year 2017” by Ishka. The team has also won “Unique Leasing Deal of the Year 2017” for combining AFIC debt with French tax lease structure for Turkish Airlines. Other awards include “Export Credit Deal of the Year 2016” for Sun Express, Trade Finance Magazine’s “Deal of the Year 2014” for Mongolian Airlines, “African Deal of the Year 2012” for a USD 1.2 billion Ex-Im Bank-guaranteed capital markets bond combined with a mezzanine debt for Ethiopian Airlines.
