Jeff Lee

Jeff Lee, FASLA is a founding principal of Lee and Associates, Inc. (LAI) with over thirty years of experience in urban design, master planning, and landscape architectural work. His work has received many awards from ASLA, AIA, ULI, DBIA, and others. He received the AIA Presidential Award, “Architects of Healing”, for The Pentagon 9-11 Memorial. Jeff was inducted into the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Council of Fellows in 2007 for exceptional body of completed work. He has served on numerous design award juries and served as a Design Excellence Peer Reviewer for the GSA and US Department of State, OBO. A graduate of the University of Virginia, School of Architecture, he has served on the Board of Managers for the UVA Alumni Association; The Jefferson Scholars: AAPAAN; and The Deans Forum and Advisory Board for the A-School.

A resident of Washington, DC since the early 1980’s , Jeff has actively participated in the renaissance and the growth of DC and the region. He was appointed by Mayor Anthony Williams to the DC Comprehensive Plan Task Force. His work has been published in the Washington, Post, Washingtonian, Architectural Records, Landscape Architecture magazine, APA Planning Magazine, and several international publications.
