Mr. Luke J. Lindberg serves Senior Vice President of External Engagement for the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM). In this capacity, he provides thought leadership in connecting EXIM with domestic and international stakeholder communities and manages strategic initiatives for Chairman Kimberly Reed. Luke also works alongside EXIM banking, underwriting, and risk management staff to fill EXIM’s pipeline, process board-level deals, and monitor the agency’s portfolio on behalf of Chairman Reed. As the head of the Office of External Engagement, Luke manages EXIM’s two Congressionally-mandated Advisory Committees and has oversight of signature events including EXIM’s Annual Conference.
Before joining EXIM, Mr. Lindberg worked for Sanford Health, a multi-billion dollar health care system in the American Midwest, where he held the roles of: Interim Chief-of-Staff, Director of External Affairs, and Director of Global Operations. In his time at Sanford Health, Mr. Lindberg managed teams in a variety of countries and assisted in developing and implementing corporate strategy at the highest levels of the organization. Prior to moving to South Dakota in 2016, he worked for IBM in their Global Business Services practice in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Lindberg has an MBA and Masters of Public Policy from the University of Maryland and founded the Sioux Falls Global Business Council, in addition to serving on the South Dakota District Export Council.
