1. 10:00am – 11:00am: "Finding and Financing Environmental Export Sales (I): Tools of Ex-Im Bank"

The ability to offer financing to customers, and gain access to working capital, are often the most critical elements in winning and financing environmental export sales. This session will highlight the roles of Ex-Im Bank in supporting buyer finance, structured and project finance, and working capital for U.S. environmental exporters under its Environmental Exports Program. Recently Ex-Im Bank instituted a new initiative to support 15-year repayment terms for renewable energy and water treatment projects, and has utilized a structured finance approach to support smaller-scale projects. Actual case studies will be presented by environmental exporters have successfully used of Ex-Im Bank programs to win and finance their export sales.
