Optimize Search Collection

Optimizing improves search performance and accuracy. You can optimize the collection for the current subsite "on demand" by expanding Actions in the left panel of the Subsite Administration dashboard and clicking Optimize Search Collection.

The search optimization utility scans the subsite collection and reports results, as shown below..

Site administrators can manage this function automatically at the site level through Manage Search Collections.
