As senior vice president of resource management, Michael Cushing provides leadership for Ex-Im Bank's programs in:

  • human resources (including staffing, work force planning, performance management, compensation, and benefits, training, and equal employment opportunity);
  • information technology (including systems operation, end-user services, information management, applications and web development, capital planning and budgeting, and security); 
  • procurement, acquisition, and private sector sourcing; and
  • administrative and security services.

Cushing's previous federal government service includes positions at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation and the Office of Personnel Management. His private sector experience includes positions as general counsel of an asset management firm and as an attorney specializing in financial institution investment development. 

Cushing received a bachelor's degree from Harvard College and a law degree from Harvard Law School.
