Wayne Gardella

Wayne Gardella is the vice president of the Domestic Business Development Division. The division is responsible for Ex-Im Bank's program outreach throughout the United States. Gardella joined Ex-Im Bank in 1994 as a loan officer in the former U.S. Division, which provided working capital loan guarantees, primarily to small businesses. He subsequently served as senior loan officer for Mexico and Central America. In 2001, Gardella became vice president of operations overseeing Ex-Im Bank's Credit Administration, Credit Applications and Processing, and Policy Administration units. He took on his current role in 2004.

Before joining Ex-Im Bank, Gardella spent more than 12 years in corporate banking in the fields of workouts, asset-based lending, commercial real estate, leverage and premium financing, and leasing.

Gardella is a certified public accountant and holds a master's degree in business administration from Marymount University.
