Frances I. Nwachuku Vice President, Asset Management As vice president of Ex-Im Bank’s Asset Management Division (AMD), Frances Nwachuku oversees the monitoring of active transactions (project finance, transportation, and large corporate credits), the processing and paying of claims, the restructuring of defaulted credits, and the Bank’s recovery efforts. Before assuming her current post in 2005, Nwachuku served as AMD’s managing director of asset monitoring and restructuring, where she managed a $40.5 billion global project finance, transportation, and structured finance portfolio. She joined Ex-Im Bank in 2000. Nwachuku has wide-ranging domestic and international banking experience in both the private and public sectors, including terms as vice president, NCB Development Corp., Washington, D.C.; credit department manager, National Cooperative Bank, Washington, D.C.; senior analyst, Midlantic National Bank (now PNC Bank), Edison, N.J.; and legal counsel, Federal Mortgage Bank, Sokoto, Nigeria. Nwachuku holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University and a J.D. (LL.B, B.L.) from the University of Nigeria in Enugu.
