Barbara A. O'Boyle joined Ex-Im Bank as a loan officer in 1976 and spent several years as a desk officer for various European and South East Asian Markets. In 1994, Ms. O'Boyle joined the newly-formed Project Finance Division, where she acted as a Senior Project Officer and successfully closed a variety of projects on a worldwide basis, including the Paiton power and Cilacap debottlenecking projects in Indonesia, and the Ras Laffan LNG project in Qatar. In January 1998, Ms. O'Boyle was named the Vice President of the division, now referred to as the Structured Finance Division. As such she is responsible for the origination of all of Ex-Im Banks's limited recourse project finance business, which consists of a total portfolio of 38 projects having an Ex-Im Bank exposure of over $9.0 billion. In addition, the Structured Finance Division includes all long-term corporate and structured finance transactions.

Before joining Ex-Im Bank, Ms. O'Boyle was in the International Lending Department of the Continental Illinois National Bank in Chicago for three years. She holds a BSBA from Georgetown University and an MBA in International Business from George Washington University.
